engine swap questions 200 1989

Hi

I´m planning to do an engine swap in the near future, now I´ve a question concerning the gearboxes. Currently I have the manual M47 gearbox. I heard that this gearbox is not strong enough to handle the extra power of the turbo engine ( B230FT 165 hp ). If this is true which alternative would be the best - M46 or the newer style M90?

If I´m going to use the M46 or M90 do I have to modify the driveshaft too?
