TriY Header ? 1800

Good, I wanted the reasonable power in the 2-5k range. Did not know if I should have went VV71 but did not want all high end or lobing idle problems. My car had smoking issues on decel, took car to John and said it was the head he swapped it an still had the same. This and some other suspension work took over a year. Still had smoke when I got it back. Not happy. Did a leakdown, had approx 45% on all cyl's. Tore engine apart. Cam lobes were worn pretty bad, minor lifter wear, some ring slop so decided to do .030 over bore, front and rear seal bad and leaking. Time to freshen it up. Found oil cap vent had no screen or brillo stuff in it and was straight thru (smoke problem??).. Did the engine stuff myself with a motor head freind. Learned a lot as it was my first time. Hope to have it running soon and with no smoke.. Will keep you apprised.
