Clutch Virgin 200 1988

Hey All-

I'm a fairly experienced amateur mechanic but all of my experience is with American V8s with automatic transmissions. I'm replacing the clutch in my sis's '88 245, and I'd like to get input from you who have been there before me. I've got the Bentley manual and it all seems pretty straightforward, but the infamous top center engine to bellhousing bolt is a puzzle. I had hoped that the last person who removed it would have had the courtesy to leave it out, but no such luck. Any _specific_ tips on what combination of universal joints, extensions, and procedures will allow me to extract this last obstruction would be most welcome.

I tried to convince my sister and her husband that a 5.0 liter Mustang drivetrain would be the best way out, but they remain skeptical. Just kidding.

Richard
