Spring replacement.. 200

Auto Zone has a press tool for 10 bucks that worked like a dream on my 940. You can also whack the end of the arm that the tie rod goes into a few times with a ball peen hammer, that usually will cause the tie rod to "loosen" and come out, but if your not lucky, its off to Auto Zone.

Also, the strut nut on the top of the 240 tower is really on there, air compressor recommended, though a manual impact wrench from Sears will eventually loosen the nut. Have some wire or a bent hanger to hold the strut while you work on it. Also, loosen the strut tube collar nut before you have it sticking out of the fender. Usually a few good whacks with a drift will loosen it up. Good luck.
