!44 Gauges 140-160 1972

Hello
My first post here. But I've watched the brick board for years. I have 2 volvos a 65 1800s and a 1972 144E.
The 72 144 brings me here. The fuel gauge became intermittant about 3 months ago and 2 weeks later the temp gauge stopped working. Every so often the fuel gauge will start working for a few minutes during a drive or until I turn off the car. Tempature outside or engine temp doesnt seem to make a difference to ether gauge. My first step will be to use a volt ohm meter to check the 2 senders but I think it is a wiring problem 30 years old and all.

Does any one have the pin out of the back of the ribbon type spedo gauge cluster so I can check continunity between the connectors and the senders?

Does any one have any ideas?

Thanks Jon
