Sounds odd to me too. 140-160

The engine this was originally mated to was the L16. I have not gone so far yet that I know whether this is going to work. I think it will be a winter project. I have a B20E engine which is a late '74 model with an 8 bolt fly wheel. As I said the clutch assembly from a 2 litre Isuzu 4WD bolts straight onto the fly wheel of this engine and fits the spline of the Datsun gearbox, the adapter plate is in the process of being worked on.
Aussie 74 144 - I am aware of the Celica conversion and would consider this if I had the readies but what I like about the Stanza gearbox is the length and gearchange pattern. The same or similar gearbox was also in the Datsun 240K. I suspect this might be a little stronger as the engine was of course a 6 cylinder. This is a rare gearbox I suspect.
Regards,
Tim
