Talking about Plugs... 900

Here is a photo of a most worthy magnetic oil drain plug. The photo shows the drain plug lifting a 1/2" drive ratchet with a 12" long extension and a deep socket. (In case you may have left some tools in the crankcase.) :o)

Although you probably don't really need it, it does pick up a little metal fuzz. The newer the engine, the more fuzz it picks up. I was told the fuzz is "ring fuzz", caused by the scraping action of the rings against the cylinder wall. (This wouldn't have worked in my old Vega, though.)

It costs $3.50, the vendor is FCPGroton, and I get .50 for each one sold, I wish. I bought another type from one of their competitors and the magnet would barely hold a piece of paper to the fridge.
