CIS problem, help PLEASE. 200

When I had a K-jet volvo that had that symptom it turned out to be the
fuel pump. It would never screw up at home. But always after about 15-20mins
of driving. Then you could limp home but not have any real power. Of course
as soon as I could check it the pump worked fine cold at home with my pressure
gauge on it. To perform this check now I know what to do at home. You just
install the pressure test gauge. Then jumper the fuel pump so it runs. Just
let it run. Fuel won't go into the motor, at least not very much. It'll
mostly be returned to the tank. But this would let you run the pumps for like
15-20mins and see if it screws up. Be extremely careful working around
the high pressure of K-jetronic. It's usually 5-7 bar fuel pressure. This
problem drove me crazy until I figured it out.

Of course a fuel pump relay that needs to be soldered or replaced will also do this kind of a symptom. So the best thing to do is eliminate the problem areas
one at a time and you'll get it. Wish you well.
