Wiring Woes 200

I have no power to my brake light switch or fuel pump relay. Used to be if I closed the relay manually she would still start and run. Sadly, this fix no longer works, if I close the relay I still get humming, but I don't have any power to actuate the relay. Where should I look for this fault, does this sound familiar to anyone, My '81 KJet is driving me nuts. If I can't get her fixed soon I'm going to have to get another car, what do you guys think?
