How hot does your turbo Volvo run??? 700

I've got a 85 760 Turbo with a B230ET, I was concerned that my car was running too cool, but I've been told now by a Volvo mechanic that he thinks it's not a problem, and that it's probally fine.
The issue came up because my cars temp gauge sits on about 1/4 or the scale when driving normaly, allthough it does creep up some when you either drive it hard, or sit in traffic for some time.

What I'd really like to know now is what does the gauge show during normal driving on other peoples turbo volvos?

My other thought is that because a turbo runs a 87 thermo and a NA runs a 92, there must either be one of three things going on...
1. Turbos read lower on the gauge normaly.
2. Turbo cars run a difrent gauge.
3. Turbos run a diffrent sensor.

Anyone know which theory is right?
