Yes, S70 indeed. CHP has a couple of them to test - I've been told they didn't end up standardizing on them because they're too small. All the electronics won't fit in the center console, the gun rack seems cramped between the seats and the officers weren't too happy with the smaller seats compared to the crown vics.

Still pretty nice cars, with full eqpt, and people _do_ move over for you.

And that's speaking from having been on a ride-along/photo shoot a couple of years ago courtesy of a friend of mine in CHP recruiting.
