Any of you RWD nuts have a All/FWD Volvo?

Not yet, although I'm a tinkerer and am looking for a cheap (and possibly slightly neglected) one to come my way just for the opportunity to work on it and learn about them. From what I've seen on friends' cars:

-like all Volvos before the S60, beware of the first two years (in casu 93/94).
-Check the AC. Kino used to have a good site on (early?) 850 AC problems, but it seems to have disappeared. At least Google can't find it anymore.
-Check the transmission (if automatic) for correct functioning.
-Trim.
