Fuel Pressure Regulator Fixed my Performance Problem 700 1988

I bought my regulator from a dealer in the Toronto area and it was $67. Where do you get it for $60?

In any case, it is very simple to replace - I just pulled the fuel pump fuses to stall the car and remove pressure from the line. A few bolts later and I was done. My car has 280,000 km. The regulator for me was just not working well and changing it really helped. From what I observed, I would guess that these things have a life span and just toughen up over time. Why not replace it now and eliminate that variable - if you plan on owning the car for a while chances are you would have to replace it eventualy anyways.

Post back if it helps the problem.
