Volvos in the desert SW?

Smitty,

Phoenix is awash in Bricks compared to SLC. There are only a couple of old 240s and no 740, or 940s currently listed for sale in the entire Salt Lake Valley. We have only one Volvo dealer in the state. I think Phoenix has two. But you do have the Revolvo Store a few miles down the road in Tucson. As for parts, I can get anything I want almost over night from Import Parts Specialists in Boise, Idaho. It takes a bit longer, but I've also had good luck with FCPGroton mail order parts from back east. My brother and sister in law have lived in Scottsdale for nearly twenty years and have owned and operated Bricks for all of them. They've had no problem getting parts or service. There may not be as many Volvos around the desert as you are used to but keeping yours alive and well in the "Valley of the Sun" should not be a concern. One tip ... get your A/C serviced , tint you windows and stock up on sun block.
