Head mods 120-130

Hello Toby,

I think the worst problem is the middle of the head, the exhaust runners of cyl 2 and 3 are right next to each other. So the head will get really hot in this region.

The only thing we can do is fabricate a supplementary cooling system for the head. I was thinking of an electric water pump circulating water through the head and a separate radiator.

The best solution is to shorten a B30 head and have a custom cam fabricated (very expensive but it has been done), like this you don't have 2 exhaust runners next to each other.

O-ringing the block would be a good thing too.

When the ignition and injection timing is carefully mapped on the engine dyno there should be no problem at all.

CU

Stefan
