There is a cat in Colorado Springs that was selling an alloy valve cover on ebay because his cam and 1.6 ratio lifters had too much movement to fit under. Don't know if you have to be concerned or not. I know he had the cam lift spec in the auction. You may be able to find it in the completed auctions. You could also graft 2 stamped steel ones together to get some more room.
