No High Beams on my '89 240? 200 1989

Help!!!
I was flashing my high beams to offer a car to pass when I noticed that my lights actually went out! With my low beams on, I pulled the high beam lever and although the indicator light on my dash said that the high beams were on, my headlihgts actually went out!!

After checking and rotating every fuse, I am at a loss. Is there a relay that powers the high beams that would cause my headlights to shut off when trying to engage my high beams?? If so, where is it and how do I get at it!

Also, I accidentally attched my tach wire to my speedometer after replacing some blown bulbs...Boom...there went my speedo and odometer! If you know a place to get a new (K10042) cluster with about 100-115K miles...let me know!

Anything the Volvo Masters could offer would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
Rob
