Motor Mounts 444-544

Joe;

I am a big advocate of using the six cylinder (PN 1206612) mounts (a bit bigger and made with higher durometer rubber) instead to the OE mounts...also for the rear trans mount (but I don't know if it will fit with a 544 X-member), which is somewhat in steady-state shear (not really ideal - these mounts should ideally only be in steady-state compression)...add a bit of oil softening (not unusual), and that mount is not long for this world.

The mounts will transfer vibration more, but if you state of tune is such that the idle is halfway smooth, I can't say it has EVER been severe enough to bother me.

Cheers
