ECU plug fix? 200

I replaced the ECU connector 18 months ago by splicing on one I got from the junk yard. It worked until this week when the car suddenly began to die again. I've used those tiny inserts that Volvo sells, but they seem to make the problem worse - the plug is still loose. Also, electrical grease doesn't do the trick (tried that the first go around).

Rather than splicing on yet another connector, I'd rather find a permanent fix for this. I was thinking some liquid solder inside each of the female openings (insert Butthead laugh here) but I'm not sure if this is a good idea - is liquid solder electrically conducive?

If anyone has a better idea, please fill me in.
