The part's aren't usually in the corner parts store, but I really don't have too much of a problem getting parts even for my much rarer 1800E and PV544 Volvo's. It's just that the smaller demand has coalesced to a few more global suppliers and websites. Generally everything is available and arrives in the mail within a week or so. Really oddball parts sometimes need to come from Europe somewhere and take a week and a half.

I wouldn't worry about parts availability on a 140 series much at all. Now if you had something like a Sunbeam or a Humber Super Snipe (best name for a car ever??) I could see a cause for concern.
