The numbers mentioned above seem correct. 155-160psi is good (what a low mileage DL car should have). The "passable" or "acceptable" level is relative, conventional wisdom is that the limit should correspond to approx. 20% less than the maximum value.

Keep in mind that the figures quoted as reference are usually for results at sea level. If you are in Colorado or another mountainous area, you need to adjust the absolute psi numbers by the altitude factor (around 1% for every 320 feet).
