I went to Autozone to pick up a distributor cap and rotor but they gave the the circular cap. They claim it is for a 1986 740 2.3l n/a. I went back and they tried the 87 and 88 year. The 88 year car has the same type of distributor as my car. Is the database at autozone wrong, or is my car modified?
