Errata on the Swedishbricks list you referred to. 700 1992

I checked; that information is wrong.

There is also incorrect information in the 200 model changes data. Here are a few examples:

1991
Rear hatch on 245 changed over to aluminum with flush glass.
Wrong: Design change was for 1990 model year, and the aluminum part is a myth; the tailgate is as much steel as any other Volvo 240.

1993
Base 240 continues on unchanged except for ABS being standard
Wrong: ABS was standard in 92, all Volvo models in the US market.

1991
Warning lights now all without white lettering
Wrong again.

1993
Door handles now painted black
That was in 1992, with the black grille and black trim (for 92).

1993 940
Automatic locking differential standard on all 900 series cars
Should be listed in 1992 model year.

The information on later 700/900 series cars is somewhat cursory.

The 1991 940 should list standard ABS brakes.
1992 740 should list ABS brakes as standard.
All 960s should list ABS brakes as standard.

Also:
SRS seatbelts (all 700/900 92-) not noted
Dual airbags (93 960, all 94- 900 cars)

No mention of different seat cushion design and upholstery for 91- 940.

Instrument panel redesign (91- 740/940)

New HVAC controls (91- 740/940)

1990 front end one year only (740/740T)

1991-1995 minor front end redesign (models w/o foglights, 740/940/940T)

Electric only engine fan (all 92- 700/900)

Multiple diagnostic units for SRS, ABS, power seat, cruise (92- 7/9)

ABS optional 88-

Later 940 Turbo models no badges or turbo gauge (some 940T)

Later 940 Turbo models no longer have option 2 package.

Two distributor locations (93-95 940)

New headrests (92- 740/940)

New gauge faces, 95 960

Some 960 stuff:

Electronically controlled transmission (92- 960)
New door panel design, self peeling, later 960/*90
No more nivomats (95-)
IRS on wagons (95 960)
New steering wheel design (95 960)
Wood trim enhancements (later 960 & *90)
Multiple interior options, varies by year of later 960
Locking differential optional (unknown of year, but later 960/*90)
OBDII (96- *90/960)
Door handle changes (95- 960/*90)

And more.

Note: The changes I've mentioned are US market changes. There may be some international information in the Swedishbricks list, which may alter how it is applied to US-spec models. Additions are only listed from memory; there may be exclusions or omissions. I've seen a lot of ebay vehicles listing information (incorrect information) from the swedishbricks site. Most of it is insignificant, but it is there. While the S-bricks stuff is informative, it isn't necessarily precise. Not a big deal, but powertrain differences and things like that can make a difference to someone who is making a purchase.

The appropriate verification would be needed before documentation.
