HELP! Door hinge problem 200 1991

Might be easier to go to salvage yard and buy a new hinge and replace the one that you have. That spring is pretty rugged and you will probaly find it a PIA to get it reseated. I replaced the drivers hinge while back because the spring broke and I did not have to remove the door to replace it. You will have to take the cover off by the fuse panel to acess the 3 bolts holding the hinge to the car. If you prop the door open, or better still have someone hold it you can remove the old hinge and replace it without too much trouble. Good luck
