REALLY long drives 140-160 1970

Hi Ross,
Sounds like a fun ride. I did one from Los Angeles to Miami and back several years ago in a '71 164. I had the motor rebuilt first though. It just took gas (lots of gas) and oil. On the return trip, due to a broken gas gauge, I ran out of gas twice in very bad places like the Texas badlands (had to be rescued by a trucker) and about 30 miles west of Phoenix and was picked up by a State Trooper. so just make sure your gauges work and have a fun ride.
Jack
