Flame trap relocation 200 1981

I started in on installing a flame trap relocation kit from IPD today. Got the intake manifold off and assorted other junk (throttle body, etc.). First question - in IPD instructions, they say to shorten existing hose from bottom of the fuel distributor. With all the gunk in a k-jet compartment, exactly which hose is this one (description of length, diameter would be beneficial). It looks as though I will be putting a harness in while I'm at it, since the existing one has been patched and taped in numerous areas.

TIA,
Jeff
