I have a 740 SE 2 litre injection 'G' Reg '89 118,00 miles.. It's sitting in
my drive and I can't afford to run it. (lost job recently - aka "resting")
If anyone is interested, you can have it for scrap value. At the moment it's
a non runner, needs the distributer Hall effect wiring resoldered or
replaced. Has a new clutch, but there is an awful lot of noise from the
trans/drivetrain (5 speed box), I suspect the centre bearing. Car is
complete (except for distributor) and in good cosmetic condition. It's that
light blue metallic colour. It's a shame to leave it in my driveway with
nowhere to go and I'd rather it went to a good home rather than the scrap
yard.
Anyone interested give us a shout. The car is in Dunfermline, Fife,
Scotland.
