General but Large help needed 200 1991

One thing I forgot:

Make sure that there is plenty of brake fluid in both reservoirs
and that you have at least partially bled the system before you
conclude that the Master Cylinder is bad. If you have lost brake
fluid, the pedal will go to the floor no matter how good the cylinder is.

You're right about the pads. If you have enough fluid in the system the
pedal should not go to the floor. If fluid is low, it WILL go to the
floor, no matter why it is low.

I checked my map. As nearly as I can tell we don't have a Sweetwater in
Oklahoma. I'm nearer the opposite corner of Oklahoma, 40 miles north of
Tulsa and 17 miles from the Kansas line. We're probably 400 miles from
Sweetwater, Texas.
