940 running rich

i have a 93 945 turbo and from the looks of the inside of the tailpipe its running rich. its very black and sooty in there. when i really get on it i smokes a little at the upper rpms. the motor has 93k and was just tuned up. new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, O2 sensor etc. it runs smooth at all rpms and idles and starts great. what should i check? thanks.
