Should I get my tail-gated 240 repaired?

My daughter's 240 was hit from behind by someone going 35 MPH. Same thing--perpetrator's car was totalled; volvo appeared unscathed. However, on closer examination, the gas tank had a deep dent in it, etc. Apparently, what had happened was the volvo was actually hit from underneath and lifted up. You might have someone take a real good look at the underside. I assume the person who hit you was insured--why don't you just insist your car be properly repaired? If you ever want to sell it, it might be a big issue! Good luck.
