K & M Filter Questions 140-160 1968


That apt place is about a mile from where I live. I've
stopped by there a couple times (got rebuild stuff for my
SU carbs there a couple months ago). They've got both
crappy and nice stubby stacks; the nice ones are lots more
expensive but I think the cheapy ones can be polished to
work okay.

I think the stubbys are the only ones that will fit into
the standard cold air box. They are also the cheapest of
the velocity stacks available.

I may pop down there and buy a pair for my stromberged
164 and see how things work. Probably I won't notice a
change anyhow but it could be fun to tinker, right?
