Brake Lights/Cruise Control out 900 1994

Hey,did ya miss me?Sold my 745 last yr.,been hanging around the Opinions forum,just getting in trouble.
Now I'm back w/ a 1994 945𖐀,000 mi.] nice cond. for $4000.00,still looking for a 945Turbo.So,checked switches,bulbs,vacuum lines,etc.,FAQ's say bulb out sensor[est. price of red one?]but would that still be true even though 'bulb out' light still works correctly?Thanks.
