Interesting Problem - Need advice 700 1989

Have a close look at the big rubber air hose from the AMM to the intake. I've seen some of them fold in on themselves and choke off air to the engine. Happens sometimes with the higher vacuum of idle or deceleration. Kind of a weird problem but quite a few of them have needed to be replaced because of it.

If that's definitely not happening I'd look for a fuel pressure problem, after making sure the ignition parts are in good repair.
