940 A/C...a fix everyone should know. 900 1994

Hi there ---

I posted a message a few days ago about an inoperative A/C. I read about re-soldering the control panel on the archives. I removed the control panel from my 940, and found to my amazement a very poor factory soldering job. Many contacts had cracked solder. I re-soldered many points, including 2 key points: The area where the connector is, and the relay (black box in center) connections for the compressor. BAM! My A/C came back to life, and with a mighty roar!! I topped the system off with some additional R-134a and it runs ice cold!! Just thought someone else might benefit from this info, especially in the hot SoCal or desert areas....
