Problems after I replaced Air Box Thermostat, Air Mass and rpm sensor 200 1990

My wifes 1990 240 had problems with start up and the codes where 233,113 and 121. The mechanic who works only on Volvos said that when he replaced the Air Mass meter, Air Box Thermostat and RPM Sensor(reference Sensor) in the car that it ran fine. So I replaced Air Mass meter, Air Box Thermostat and RPM Sensor(reference Sensor)myself and the car started up and ran very smoothly, but the next day it was starting alittele rough again but not like it did before. When it starts up it wants choke it self out but once you give it gas it settles down. It runs well but at times idels alittle rough. I don't know what is causing this. Any help or information would be great.
Thanks BrianO
