245 front windshield wiper drive arm cable eccentric lobe connection

In replacing the WW motor, my daughter moved the ww arms from the outside to resposition the stop location of the blades which caused the cable to come off the drive lobe of the passenger side internal drive eccentric lobe.

I had the glove box out to replace the motor but I am pulling my hair out to figure how to rethread the dirve arm cable on to the eccentric lobe. The cable has as small threaded nut at one end. Should this be removed to thread the cable and then reconnect?

How do you get access?

HELP. I am frustrated and have spent too many hours on this. Has anyone gone through this issue? Can you offer suggestions?

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Allan
