Stalls after hot restart 200

I'm hoping someone has seen this problem. My '89 240DL starts up and idles fine. However, if the engine is up to temp then turned off for 10 to 45 minutes and restarted, it stalls as soon as you take your foot off the gas pedal. Once the engine is back to full temp, it idles perfectly. And, oh yeah, it only happens when the outside temp is 55 or above. I tested the idle air valve and even tried replacing it with a used one, but no help. Also re-soldered the fuse pump relay board. Doesn't seem to matter whether A/C is on or off. Any ideas?
