A/C won't blow out dash vents under boost 700 1991

'91 744T. When engine vacuum is good, everything works fine. As soon as I get into the boost, the air quits blowing out the dash vents and moves to the defrost/heat vents. I already replaced the black and white vacuum check valve that keeps the boost out of the controls. Thought for sure that would fix it but no. Is there any common places to look for leaks in the reservoir or tubing? I know my 245 inside out behind the console but have never torn into the 740 yet.

Thanks!
