what should I do with a bautiful 960? 900

My dad and I have been through various treatments to repair the cracked block in our 1992 960. Unfortunately, we have lost this battle against the ill-engineered block and we are barely able to drive the car. The car itself is in near showroom condition with 100k. The po. took meticulous care of the care and it shows. So, we are now faced with a discouraging scenario but as I see it we have a couple options. We can sell the car as is and take a bath on the whole deal, we can replace the engine with the volvo turbo 4 cyclinder, or I have 'heard' of ford 5.0L conversion kits that people have done. I am in favor of the volvo 4 cycinder replacement, unless we find someone that is looking for a prestine 960 with a bad motor...

My question is then, what is required to replace the six cyclinder with the turbo four and if anyone has done this could you tell me what was involved?? Has anyone done the Ford 5.0L conversion? I would really appreciate your ideas.
Cheers,
