Find a used engine from a 1995+ donor 960/90 and install that. You will need the engine electricals, ECUs and some other components to make it work right, since it is OBD-II.

The downside is that these cars usually expire due to engine failure, so the supply may not be too good and prices will be nowhere near the price of a B230.
