overheating issues 700

The car wasn't overheating before but it was losing coolant slowly out of the overflow tanks cap. New coolant tank fixed that. Should have bought a new hose when I got the coolant tank. I know where the coolant is leaking from this time. There is no oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil that I can see at the moment. I think my loss of coolant problems are now all related to that one hose which to my knowledge has never been replaced and certainly looks nasty. I really hope that I don't have a head gasket problem. I am going to have my mechanic do a once over to see if he thinks anything else was damaged. If system loses coolant with the new hose I am sure you guys will hear about it :)
