Going to the junk yard is always the best time I have, finding all kinds of stuff for my baby. This weekend I scored a cruise control unit, 86-90 units are so hard to find. A air-dam scoop for the radiator, I knew just from looking at the clips down below thats what had to go there but have never seen one till now. Also, found a 83 245 with a manual trans and took it out just for the fun of it, and to get to know what I had to do in order to put one it for the M46 trans swap, which is coming very soon.
Also last week I got a pair of heavy duty canvas seat covers for 240 seats. They have no labels on them but these are just for the 240's. They have the cut-outs for the lumbar and recline knobs and everything. There are no rips or tears in them, just a couple of stubborn stains from the drivers seat that I am working on getting rid of. The only problem is that they are tan, and I have the black interior. So, if anybody would like to trade something for them I would love to hear from you. I am looking for a 52mm fuel economy gauge, a black fabric dash cover, I have a tan one also which I am willing to trade, or a set of black rear headrest wich I really, really want. Well, that and the economy gauge.
