funny noise, and sputtering 900

was driving up the highway just 5 min ago and decided to hit the accelerator for fun

hit about 75 when the tach blipped and the check engine light bliped.
i felt nothing from the engine

turned the music down and heard a scraping noise from the engine

pulled off looked under the hood under the car etc
saw nothing

turned the car off
back on

noise was gone.

but when i bring the rmps to 2k, it starts to sputter then i give it more and it just sputters harder (like its misfiring)

give it more and BANG up to 3500 and running fine

a little worried about the scraping noise
but she runs
i still have a 30min drive home from the office
anybody have any idea?
