K Camshaft 200

Hello,

Right now I'm in the middle of converting my 1977 242DL from a B21 to a B23 engine. With the B23, I have a K camshaft, which I hear is a good camshaft. I also read that double valve springs are recommended to avoid valve float, so I will look into them. My question is, does the valve spring seating area on the head have to be enlarged to accomodate the double valve springs? Also, does anyone know the torque range of the K camshaft?

Thanks,

Caitlin
