Impossible.

The computer in the kick panel did not show up until Turbo and LH Jetronic models. To know that a fuel computer belonged there you would have a big 24-pin connector and a car that would not run without it. Excessive rough/uneven idle on older bricks can usually be attributed to carbon build up on various intake surfaces and/or leaky injector seals.
