alas, the magnaflow solution 700

Hey board,
As I had a minor dilema with my newly installed catback and straight thru magnaflow, I have it all fixed. Thanks for everyone who gave some thoughts. I went back to the custom shop and he put a resonator back in. The car sounds GREAT !!! :) not too loud, not whisper quiet, but just a nice consistent lowness that is not droning when at 70 mp/h and at a little under 3000 RPM on highway. It is just what I was looking for. Point..: if you have a n/a '91 740 a nice combination = 2.25 inch cat back, resonator and freeflower...if you are just looking for that "right sound" Not to mention, it looks much much better than the curly 'S' pipe that comes stock. Ahh, the world of cars. BTW, now you all have me considering turbo now, thanks a lot ;). Now, just the time for some paint for the poor car who has seen snow for the first time in 12 years. I bought it in GA and now its up in MA, oh boy. My poor unique one of a kind teal paint started to chip on the front bumper and 'spoiler' in the front. I feel bad since the previous owner spent all the money of dressing it up nice with some IPD chrome around the wheels and the rims they put on. Regardless I still love it :)
