wet engine - I second mcduck 700 1990

Last fall I did a rebuild of the area around the battery box and the battery cables of our '90 744 Turbo.

I even removed the power stage from the inner fender and cleaned its ground connection. I did not unplug the power stage.

Much to my surprise, the car would not start.

Since the cables and battery box could not be the problem, I soon suspected the power stage. A connector cleaning and dielectric grease saved the day.
