TIMING CHECK 700 1988

Valve timing is set correctly when the timing pulley marks line up. On a 740, the timing mark on the intermediate shaft doesn't matter, but it's good practice to line it up anyway.
Ignition timing can be set on this car by rotating the distributor. A normal
timing light should work fine to see the marks on the crank pulley.
Here's your timing belt arrangement:
