If you were wondering what happened with my 82..she may not be dead after all. 200 1982

Well, turns out my camshaft broke my timing belt. I just had the timing belt replaced so I was all ready to take my mechanic to court. Then I slowed down enough to realize the timing belt didnt break the camshaft. My other mechanic felt bad for me and offered to replace the timing belt and the camshaft for 200. Volvo says I need a wiring harness. My mechanic says it can be re-wired to cut down on expense.

I've already put up a posting to get rid of it. Is it time to give up on a car I love so much...new engine mount, front wheel bearing, good tires(not the cheapo ones), front struts, new muffler, new engine seal, new rear caliphers, new brakes? All stuff that is pretty much maintenance (others think Im throwing my money away...what do they know?) Or do I go ahead and spend the $200 and see what happens?
