410000 miles, and still going!! 200 1980

Regular oil changes for one. Always have used 10w-40. Never missed a change. Never. Always change the fluids at the proper intervuls. I also don't exactly... street race in the car. I rarely redline it (only when passing, if that). Anything broken, I take care off. I don't take care of strange noises by just turning the radio up (heh heh heh). Check the oil weekly. If you consistantly, key word is CONSISTANTLY maintain your car, you shouldn't have too many problems, espically with this year of the 240 it seems.

I have had to replace the transmission on this one once, back in '94. Don't remember the mileage then, but it was pretty high. It also helps that this is a stick shift, much more efficient.

Don't know what else, maybe I just got lucky. It's great, insurrance is pretty cheep for this thing, although gas is killing me up here... $1.89/gal, and that's the regular Arco crap!
